Get up early and beat the crowd on this spectacular destination of the Montanejos springs and Salto de la Novia 60m waterfall. Hike to the top of the impressive canyon and swim the thermal springs
This spectacular tour includes 2 breathtaking stops: The Montanejos thermal springs where you will have several hours to enjoy at your own pace and the Bridal Veil 60m (180') waterfall.
Design your own tour and go at your own pace. No need to follow the rest of the group or the guide.
Montanejos' best spots are the thermal springs and the amazing hikes starting from there. You can do both and have plenty of time to do so!
We will drop you off right at the thermal springs site (the entrance ticket is on us) and from there we will instruct you exactly on the location of the different sites, activities and the pick up location and time for the return to Valencia.
Your adventure starts here!
Hiking:
There are breathtaking hiking trails that can be as long as you want. We will provide you with a GPS App that will let you decide the difficulty, the length and will guide you (with an app on your phone) so you don't get lost.
Thermal baths:
The water is said to be at a constant temperature of 25C throughout the year. Some studies found antioxidant and anti-aging properties to it. Enjoy it as much as you want! If you are a good swimmer you can explore on your own the caves, swim in the canyon and jump off a cliff if you dare.
Food and drinks:
Bring you lunch or eat at the snack bar just at the springs site (not included in the price)
The beautiful village of Montanejos
The village is 15 minutes walk from the springs. You will find restaurants and other places for lunch or just for a quick visit.
Easy Pick up / drop off location
The pick up is at 9:30am so we can be arrive at the Montanejos site before the crowd which is essential in the summer time to enjoy the lagoon and the beautiful nature at your own pace.
On the site you will find:
- The spectacular hiking trails of the Mijares canyons (we will provide you with an interactive maps (on your phone) of all the trails so you can enjoy without getting lost)
- Swim the pristine water of the Blue Lagoon 25C thermal springs in Montanejos (we pay the entrance fee).
- On site you will find a snack bar or you can bring your own food
- The village of Montanejos is 15 min walk away so a quick walk from the main Blue Lagoon site
The Bridal Veil 60m waterfall
On the way back to Valencia we will stop at the Bridal Vail spectacular 60m waterfall for another refreshing stop.
We make it extra easy and convenient for you

Some of the hikes we list require some level of fitness, please make sure you are fit enough and read the description of the hikes before choosing your excursion. The bus departs Montanejos at 4 PM, arriving back in Valencia around 5:30 PM. Be sure to pack your own food and plenty of water, especially in the summer heat! There is a snack bar (summer season only), public toilet and water on site. The order of the stops can be changed based on the season, weather, etc
