Explore Sri Lanka on a 9-day tour from Colombo. Visit the Golden Cave Temple in Dambulla, go on a safari in Minneriya National Park, and see the Ramboda Falls and a tea plantation in Nuwara Eliya. Take a train ride to Ella and go on a safari in Yala National Park.

Day 1: Colombo-Sigiriya-Dambulla
Welcome by an English-speaking driver from your hotel or the airport in Colombo and drive to Sigiriya. On the way, visit the Dambulla Golden Cave Temple. In the evening, go on a safari in Minneriya, Kaudulla, or Hurulu Eco National Park.

Day 2: Sigiriya-Kandy
Early in the morning, climb Sigiriya Rock before the sun becomes too hot. Afterward, drive to Kandy. On the way, visit Nalanda Gedige, Mathale Spice Garden, and a Hindu temple.

Day 3: Kandy
After breakfast, visit the Royal Botanical Garden, the Gem Museum, Kandy Lake, and downtown Kandy. In the afternoon, visit the tooth relic temple and witness the Kandyan cultural show.

Day 4: Kandy-Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, drive to Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens. Later, drive to Nuwara Eliya and visit Ramboda Falls, a tea plantation, and a tea factory. After that, take a Nuwara Eliya city tour.

Day 5: Nuwara Eliya-Ella
After breakfast, drive to visit Gregory Lake and Victoria Park Garden for an hour. After the 12:40 PM train ride to Ella, take the gorgeous panoramic view train. In the evening, climb Little Adam’s Peak.

Day 6: Ella-Yala
After breakfast, drive to Tissamaharama. On the way, visit Rawana Waterfall and Buduruwagala Rock Temple. In the evening, go on a safari in Yala National Park.

Day 7: Yala-Mirissa/Galle
After breakfast, drive to Mirissa or Galle. Enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 8: Mirissa/Galle-Bentota
After breakfast, leave for a hotel in Galle Fort for a leisurely stroll. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure.

Day 9: Bentota-Colombo
After breakfast, leave for Colombo. On the way, stop at Bentota for a river safari and Kosgoda to visit a sea turtle conservation project.
