Explore the beautiful central Sri Lanka (hill country) with cultural triangle on a 5-day guided tour. Visit the Udawalawe Plains National Park, Sigiriya Rock, Dambulla Golden Temple, Ella Resort, Kandy, the Nine Arch Bridge, Mini Adams Peak, Nuwara Eliya, and many other places. Take a scenic train ride from Ella to Nuwara Eliya.
Day 1: Colomb-Udawalawe
Meet your driver and proceed to your hotel in Udawalwawe. Udawalawe National Park safari in the afternoon. The safari lasts 4-5 hours. Overnight stay in Udawalawe.
Day 2: Udawalawe-Ella
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel and drive to Ella. Check in and relax. In the afternoon, hike to Mini Adams Peak and later visit the Nine Arch Bridge. Overnight stay in Ella.
Day 3: Ella-Nuwara Eliya-Kandy
Take the hill country blue train from Ella railway station to Nuwara Eliya and enjoy the scenic train trip. Later, take a tour of Nuwara Eliya and a tea plantation/factory. In the afternoon, take a Kandy city tour.
Overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 4: Kandy-Matale-Sigiriya
Start the day with breakfast and drive to the hotel in Sigiriya. On the way, take a guided walking tour at a spice/herbal garden and visit the Dambulla Temple. In the afternoon, climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress.
Overnight stay in Sigiriya.
Day 5: Sigiriya-Colombo
Leisuly breakfast at hotel and drive to hotel in Colombo
