Through this package we offer you all that, including your breakfast and lunch. All you have to do, is to sit back and experience & enjoy the excitement.
What happens on a typical day on safari?
A. Pick-up time at 5.00 a.m. - Around the Ella and Bandarawela area. Pick-up times - (4.30 a.m./ 5.00 a.m.)
B. Get down from the transfer vehicle (Air-conditioned Car or minivan) and get into the 4X4 safari vehicle. - at Udawalawe, around 7.00 a.m.
C. Morning wildlife safari (3 hours)
D. Break at Udawalawe (20-30 minutes, time to enjoy your picnic breakfast which we will provide you.)
E. Visit the Elephant Transit Home in Udawalawe to participate in feeding the baby elephants (at 10.30 a.m., takes about 30 minutes)
F. Travel from Udawalawe to Tissamaharama by the transfer vehicle (Travelling takes about 1 hour & 30 minutes)
G. Get down from the transfer vehicle and get in the Safari vehicle
H. Lunch break (1 hour) - We will provide you Sri Lankan lunch
I. Afternoon 3 hours Wildlife Safari in YALA National Park (Ending at around 5.30 p.m.)
J. Get down from the safari vehicle and get in the transfer vehicle (at around 6.00 p.m.)
K. Drop-off in and around the Ella area (at around 8.00 p.m.)
Throughout your safari experience, your safety and comfort are our top priorities. So we use only the rugged 4x4 vehicles for the safaris. Add to that we provide a cool box with water to refresh yourself on the Afternoon safari. Our knowledgeable & experienced driver cum guide will ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable journey.

Ajith Safari Jeep Tours has been a safari operator for more than 30 years and also an authorized company to offer safari services in National Parks in Sri Lanka, all of our 4X4 vehicles have the necessary approvals and all of our drivers have the special licenses to provide their service as safari drivers in the YALA National Park, which are issued by the Department of Wildlife Conservation in Sri Lanka.

Please be informed that the entrance fees for the Udawalawe & YALA National Parks and Elephant Transit Home are not included in this package.
Fees must be paid in cash in Sri Lankan Rupees (There are no facilities at present at the Udawalawe & YALA National Parks and Elephant Transit Home entrances to make cash payments in foreign currencies)
To run the safari operation financially smoothly, it requires at least two guests per booking.
Only 50% of the price of an adult will be charged for children above 5 and below 12 years old. The children aged 5 or below will be given the chance to ride the safari free of charge. (Letting the future guardians of the planet Earth take their first steps in experiencing to be aligned with nature)
Children below 12 years must be accompanied by an adult.
Our driver/s will pick you up from the hotels in and around the Ella, Bandarawela or Wellawaya areas. You can select a time to be picked up out of 3 options (4.30 a.m./ 5.00 a.m./ 5.30 a.m.)
The time will be slightly adjusted depending on the location of your hotel and the locations of other guests' hotels who are going to share the safari with you. Sometimes, management of the hotels assign a location within the hotel premises other than the lobby area, for guests to be picked up by the drivers. Please communicate beforehand with the hotel staff and get to know the location, if not, the driver and you will be waiting for each other in two different locations. - Both safaris will be done by specially modified rugged 4X4 safari vehicles with individual seats, which gives the guests a 270-degree view.

- Lunch with Rice, Chicken Curry, Dhal Curry, Beans Curry, Tempered Potato, Papadam, Sri Lankan fruits
