Walk through the streets and monuments of the Galle Fort with a history-savy Academic who loves Colonial History , Street Food and Art.
In this exciting Galle Fort tour , we will be treating the place an Emotion - a place where smiles , tears and blood was seen in the past , a place that everybody comes to relax at present. Rather than a simple description of history , we would connect with you and your personal value systems about colonialism , identify the pros and cons , bring it to the Fort that we are touring and end the tour with a smile , leaving food for thought at bedtime. We will also be tasting some of the unique street food available at Fort , which also reflect the culinary traditions in Sri Lanka. The tour can be customized in ways that it is interesting for kids - painting on the ramparts . for adults - a hot chocolate while enjoying the sunset or joining the locals for game of volleyball or cricket. At the end of the day , you take home , a memorable tale of the one and only living heritage in the world.

The Galle Fort can be extremely hot during midday. Thus, it is advised to book tours between 7am and 9am in the morning or between 3.30pm and 5pm in the evening.
We will meet at the Tennis Court inside the Fort.
