In your private van with a tour leader/driver, you leave Montreux for a day of discovery in the heart of the Bernese Oberland, among underground wonders, turquoise lakes, and alpine panoramas.
First stop at the St. Beatus Caves, nestled on the shores of Lake Thun. These limestone caves, among the largest in Switzerland, immerse you in a fascinating underground world. Stalactites, stalagmites and underground rivers follow one another along a unique guided route.
The route continues along Lake Thun, whose turquoise waters framed by wooded mountains are among the most beautiful in Switzerland. A stop to admire the landscape and take some pictures before heading to Interlaken.
In the capital of Bernese Oberland, you have free time to stroll along the Höheweg, the central avenue lined with Swiss shops. Watches, chocolate, souvenirs, and luxury items are there alongside a direct view of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau in the background.
The highlight of the day: the funicular ride up to Harder Kulm, Interlaken's iconic mountain. In just 10 minutes, you reach an altitude of 1,322 meters for a 360-degree view of Lakes Thun and Brienz, Interlaken, and the three great peaks of the Bernese Alps.
Your transportation is completely private by van. Admission to the caves and a round-trip funicular ride are included in the price. Pickup and drop off at your hotel are included.

During stops, your tour leader/driver will drop you off on site and remain available nearby. You will visit the sites and take the funicular ride on your own, at your own pace.
The temperature in the caves is a constant 10°C (50°F) all year round. A light jacket is recommended for the visit.
Comfortable shoes are advisable.
