Embark on a 3-day private safari from Arusha to Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy game drives, stay in mid-range lodges, and spot the Big 5 in their natural habitat.
Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel or the airport in Arusha. Drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its giant elephant herds and iconic baobabs. Enjoy a game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park. In the evening, take in sunset views across Tarangire before spending the night at Sangaiwe Tented Lodge, near the park gate.
On day two, have an early breakfast before departing for the Ngorongoro Highlands. Spend the afternoon at leisure in Karatu with optional activities like a village walk or coffee tour. Rest and prepare for the next day’s crater adventure. Overnight at Eileen’s Tree Inn in Karatu.
On the final day, make an early descent into Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive, where you might spot rhinos, lions, elephants, and hippos. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before driving back to Arusha.
