Embark on a 8-day safari adventure through the national parks of Tanzania. Discover the diverse wildlife and landscapes of Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and Serengeti National Park.

Day 1: Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport and be transferred to Mount Meru Hotel in Arusha for an overnight stay on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park. Arrive in time for lunch in a tented camp or lodge. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive to admire the vast fauna and flora.

Keep an eye out for lesser kudu, eland, lion, and gerenuk which can be found in this beautiful park, noted for its multitude of baobab trees and its tree-climbing lions. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Sangaiwe Tented Camp or similar.

Day 3: Tarangire to Ngorongoro
After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy lunch at the lodge or tented camp. After lunch, descend down the 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the crater.

Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you might see the flamingoes, and the open savanna where the lions hunt for food. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Rhino Lodge or similar.

Day 4: Ngorongoro to Serengeti
Drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains.

Enjoy lunch at the lodge or tented camp. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive in the endless plains of Serengeti with a big chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Osinon Tented Camp or similar.

Day 5: Serengeti
After breakfast, depart with a picnic lunch for a full day game drive in the Serengeti. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Osinon Tented Camp or similar.

Day 6: Serengeti
Enjoy a full day of game drives in the Serengeti. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Osinon Tented Camp or similar.

Day 7: Serengeti to Lake Manyara
Embark on an early morning game drive before returning for a late breakfast. Enjoy another mid-morning game drive before departing towards Ngorongoro Highlands.

Enjoy lunch at Gibbs Farm or similar. In the afternoon, visit the waterfalls before proceeding to Lake Manyara for dinner and an overnight stay at Marera Valley Lodge or similar.

Day 8: Lake Manyara to Arusha
After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree-climbing lions, flamingoes, and other varieties of birdlife.

Enjoy lunch at a lodge or tented camp before driving back to Arusha for your holiday extension or to fly back home.
