The site features a dramatic 78-meter cascade hidden within a deep, tropical forest gorge.
The trek to the waterfall offers a beautiful look at the region's volcanic landscape and local rural life.
Hikers pass directly through traditional Meru villages, active banana and coffee farms (shambas), and the dense canopy of the Mount Meru Forest Reserve.
