Day 1: Marangu Gate to Mandara Huts (2,700m)
Start your trek through lush rainforest, gradually ascending to Mandara Huts.
Day 2: Mandara Huts to Horombo Huts (3,720m)
The trail becomes steeper as you ascend towards Horombo Huts, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
Day 3: Horombo Huts to Kibo Huts (4,703m)
A challenging day with significant elevation gain. Ascend through alpine desert and moorland, reaching Kibo Huts, the final camp before the summit attempt.
Day 4: Kibo Huts to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) and Descent to Horombo Huts
Start your summit attempt in the middle of the night. The final ascent to Uhuru Peak is challenging but rewarding. After reaching the summit, descend to Horombo Huts.
Day 5: Horombo Huts to Marangu Gate
The final day involves a steady descent through the forest, leading to Marangu Gate and the end of your Kilimanjaro adventure.
