Day 1: Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park
Get picked up from your hotel in Zanzibar and take a ferry across the Indian Ocean to Dar es Salaam. From there, take a train to Morogoro, followed by a short drive to Mikumi National Park.
Upon arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive, exploring the park during the golden hours of sunset. Afterward, head to your lodge inside the park for dinner and relaxation.
Later, dive into a night game drive, a unique after-dark safari that lets you explore the park when wildlife is most active. Using spotlights and expert guides, encounter nocturnal animals such as lions, leopards, civets, and hyenas in their natural nighttime behaviors. Return to the lodge for an overnight stay inside the park.
Day 2: Mikumi National Park to Zanzibar
Enjoy an early morning breakfast before driving back to Dar es Salaam via Morogoro town. Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, board the ferry for the return journey to Zanzibar.
