Day 1: Arusha - Ngorongoro Crater Tour
Begin your adventure with a drive from Arusha to Ngorongoro. Descend into the crater floor for a day of game drives. Enjoy a picnic lunch at Ngoitoktok swamp, a hippo pool. After lunch, ascend the crater and drive to Empakai Crater rim for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Empakai – Lake Natron
After breakfast, trek down from the East rim to the crater floor. Take an easy walk to the lake, where you might see huge flocks of flamingos. Have lunch at Empakai crater rim, then drive to Lake Natron for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Full Day at Lake Natron
Drive to Lake Natron, a soda lake where many water birds, including flamingos, can be seen. After lunch, explore the area, experience the natural environment, and meet the Maasai tribe. Visit the beautiful waterfalls near the lake, where you can take a bath. Enjoy dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Mount Oldonyo Lengai Climb - Arusha
At midnight, drive to the base of Mount Oldonyo Lengai, an active volcanic mountain. Start your climb and reach the summit during sunrise. After descending, return to the camp for breakfast. Then, drive back to Arusha for your onward journey.
