Spend the night camping under the stars at Shira Camp (3,500m), surrounded by breathtaking views of Kibo’s glaciers and Mount Meru in the distance. The next morning, make a short but thrilling climb to Shira Peak (3,962m) — one of Kilimanjaro’s smaller summits — and enjoy panoramic views across the African plains before descending back through the forest.
