Visit Jozani Forest to learn about see the different wildlife . Discover more about the butterflies in the gardens of Zanzibar.
Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park, Zanzibar Tanzania. Jozani Forest is in the south of the island and is the largest area of mature forest in Zanzibar.
A car will take you there, and a guide will walk you around the ancient hardwood forest and mangrove swamps. It is also home to the Red Colobus monkeys, unique to Zanzibar, with less than 2000 remaining in the world.
During this one hour and a half tour at Jozani forest you will learn more about them. After the tour, you will go to the Butterfly Centre to discover the endemic species of Zanzibar’s butterflies. Explore every facet of a butterfly's life cycle.
Step into the enchanting feeding ritual, where you're welcome to let butterflies grace your hand with their delicate flight.
Later, our driver will drop you off to your hotel where you will be back full of nice memories.
