7.30a.m Early morning light breakfast at lodge, depart for game-drive to explore the wild in Arusha National Park. Check-inn at the gate /do the paper work then start exploring the park. The park is just 552 square kilometers but has a lot to see.The attraction that are inside the park are such as.
Serengeti Ndogo(little Serengeti). It’s an area within the park that has an open grassland and animals such as buffaloes, waterbucks,zebra,warthogs, giraffes can easily be seen.
Another attractions is Uwanja wa Mbogo(Buffalos Glade)-this consists of marsh, bushes, and streams. It attracts animals such as buffalo,warthogs and giraffe. The two species spend their day for grazing,resting and wallowing in the present mud-holes.
Ngurdoto and Meru Craters the pear shaped resembling like Ngorongoro crater has 5 view points namely Mikindu, The Rock,Buffalo, The Glade and Leitong. Leitong is the highest and from this Mount Kilimanjaro and Meru and easily be seen.
Tululusia Hill(look out point)-this offers excellent view of lower areas in the park, it has a waterfall and it’s a home of nesting red-winged starlings.
Lake Momella & Longil. Lake Momela it’s fed from underground streams which are not deep. It supports different type of algae. Lake Longil it has afresh water hence home of Tilapia, Papyrus and Mace reed.
Fig-Arch Tree-big tree whose roots has reach the ground and leave an arch space enough for a car to drive through.
Ngarenanyuki River-come from mountain forest and Mount Meru crater with alkaline brown like colour water which drains its water to small rivers outside the park.
Arusha National Park you can do game drive, walking safaris, cycling, canoeing, horse riding. So this day we’ll offer you gamedrive and walking safari, or you may select 2 from the mentioned above. But our guide will do his best to take to all potential places in the park to make your day more better and enjoyable.
13/14p.m lunch at the picnic site then after lunch proceed with game drive till 5p.m you’ll exit the park heading back to the Airport to catch your flight
