Hear more about Thailand and its history on your way to visit the background sites from WW2. Your first stop will be the War Cemetery and Thailand-Burma Railway Centre. Learn how this cemetery contains the remains of 6,982 allies prisoners of war who perished during the construction of "The Dead Railway".
Next, visit the landmark of Kanchanaburi, the Bridge of the River Kwai, where you can admire the views of the picturesque river. This is " Death Railway Train", created by Japanese soldiers during World War 2. Afterward, eat lunch at a local restaurant.
