Continue to Tataouine, known for its vibrant spice market, and soak up the local atmosphere. Next, head to Chenini, a stunning Berber village nestled in the mountains. Walk through this semi-troglodytic village where homes carved into rock date back to the 11th century, guided by a local expert. Visit a traditional semi-underground house.

After a traditional Tunisian lunch in Tataouine, head towards the ancient Ksour region, stopping at Ksar Hadada to explore the ghorfas—well-preserved grain storage rooms from the 17th century. Return to Djerba in the late afternoon, crossing once again the historic Roman causeway.
