Day 1: Djerba – Tataouine – Chenini – Ksar Ghilane
Departure at 8 a.m. from Djerba to Tataouine, stop at Lac Salé.
Free time at the military surplus market.
Continue to Chenini to visit the Berber troglodyte village.

Drive to Ksar Ghilane, set up tents.
Free time at the hot spring.
Optional activities: quad biking or camel riding in the dunes.
Sand bread demonstration.

Continue to Tozeur via Chott El Jerid (Salt Lake).
Visit the mountain oases: Chebika, Tamerza, and Ong Jemal (Star Wars site).
Check-in and overnight stay at a hotel in Tozeur.

Breakfast at the hotel.
Option of a horse-drawn carriage ride (optional).
Departure for Matmata, visit to a troglodyte house and the Sidi Idriss site (Star Wars).
Lunch.
Photo stop at the Berber village of Toujane.
Return to Djerba at the end of the day.
