Your journey begins at Nakiwogo Landing Site in Entebbe, where you’ll board a motorized canoe and sail approximately 45 minutes across Lake Victoria to the swamp. Once in Mabamba, glide silently through narrow water channels lined with papyrus reeds as your local guide and bird expert help you track the Shoebill and spot other species like the African Jacana, Malachite Kingfisher, Blue-breasted Bee-eater, and more.
