Day 1: Travel to Murchison Falls National Park
Begin your adventure with a hearty breakfast and a briefing from your guide. Set off on a journey to Murchison Falls, Uganda’s largest national park. Along the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track and learn about the endangered white rhinoceros.
Continue through Masindi, where you’ll enjoy a cultural performance during lunch. Arrive at the park and, if time allows, embark on an evening game drive. Settle into your accommodation, relax, and enjoy dinner.
Day 2: Early Morning Wildlife Game Drive and Nile Boat Cruise
Rise early for a game drive, searching for hunting cats and early risers. Spot hyenas, antelopes, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and lions. Birdwatchers can look for egrets, ibises, marabou storks, and the rare shoebill stork.
Enjoy a picnic by the riverbank, listening to the sounds of hippos. Return to the lodge for breakfast and prepare for an afternoon boat cruise on the Nile. Get up close to crocodiles, buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, Uganda kobs, and elephants.
Spot birds like kingfishers, weaverbirds, and bee-eaters. At the base of the falls, take photos and admire the scenery. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Early Morning Game Drive and Return to Kampala
After breakfast, embark on another game drive, heading towards the top of the falls. Witness the Nile forcefully flowing through a narrow gorge, creating a deafening roar and water splashes rising up to 10 meters high.
After this breathtaking display of nature’s power, begin your journey back to Kampala/Entebbe, stopping for lunch along the way.
