Explore ancient Edinburgh to the coast. Ride under our extinct volcano, Arthur's Seat, see Holyrood Pk and relax by the coast at Portobello beach with a refreshment on this exciting day of discovery.
A wee pedal is Visit Scotland's Award winning 'Best Outdoor Experience 2022/23! Start your day of exercise and fun by meeting your group and guide at Bridgend Farmhouse, 10 minutes car/uber from The Royal Mile. After a short meet and greet with your guide, set-off along cycle paths into Holyrood Park. We go through the Innocent Railway Tunnel built in 1831, the oldest in UK and underneath part of Arthur's Seat.
We then enter Holyrood Park, where you will get the chance to stop for some photos with the stunning backdrop of Arthur's Seat, the extinct volcano and views over Edinburgh city.
We then follow a cycle path on the John Muir Way, to Portobello Beach where you shall stop for a refreshment or perhaps a dip in the North Sea!

• You must be able to cycle 12 miles in total.
All riders must be able to ride a bike safely.
If your child requires a child seat, please let me know in advance - £20 to hire the child seat. (suitable for children up to 22kg)
If you would like to hire an E-bike, please contact me in advance - £20 to hire the E-bike. Minimum age 14 to ride an e-bike in UK (info@aweepedal.com)
