Venture to Alaska’s frozen desert with a tour of the Knik Glacier Pools. Ride in a helicopter from Knik River Lodge and land on a glacier, before exploring the vast ice fields and going for a refreshing dip. Feel safe in the hands of your knowledgeable guide whether you’re new to paddling or a pro.
Fly over Knik Glacier in a helicopter to admire the wintry landscape below. Gear up with a dry suit and safety equipment and jump into the freezing cold glacier water. Your guide will join you on a few jumps into the glacial lake until you’re comfortable safely getting in and out of the water.
Next up is a paddling lesson and safety demonstration, so you know what to do if you lose your balance. Paddle solo into the lake for a serene trip through the frozen wonderland, and explore one of the biggest glaciers in south Alaska.
