Begin your day with a hotel pickup in Manhattan before heading north along the Hudson River. Your first stop is Cold Spring Village, a quaint village where you can wander along Main Street, browse antique shops, and enjoy the peaceful riverside atmosphere.
Next, visit Foundry Dock Park, a small but scenic park right on the Hudson River. From here, get a beautiful view across to the dramatic rise of Storm King Mountain.
From there, your driver/guide will take you to Boscobel House & Gardens, where landscaped gardens and sweeping lawns overlook the river. Even without going inside the historic mansion, the views from the property are stunning.
Finally, head to West Point Foundry Preserve, a preserved historic site that tells the story of Cold Spring’s industrial past. Set among trees and a flowing brook, the ruins and walking paths here make for a peaceful and fascinating end to your Hudson Valley escape.
Afterward, your driver/guide will return you to your hotel in Manhattan, bringing you back from the countryside to the city.
