Meet a family business that since 1957 has been producing wines of artisan tradition and continues the dream of a Basque immigrant who came to America with the audacity of those who have nothing to lose.
Enjoy an attractive plan: spend the day in one of the most characteristic wineries of the region.
To think of Carmelo is to think of Zubizarreta wines, a winery closely linked to the identity of the city and ideal to live a wonderful experience if you are a lover of good wine.
We will pick you up at the door of your hotel or accommodation anywhere in Colonia del Sacramento, to board an executive car to the most important wine region of the country, just 1 hour away.
During the trip you will be able to observe the Uruguayan fields and meadows, the typical agricultural and livestock areas, surrounded by beautiful landscapes until you reach the winery.
Once we arrive at the Zubizarreta Winery and Vineyards, we will enjoy a pleasant guided visit through all the facilities to marvel at its history and learn about its production process.
Then we will enjoy a complete lunch that includes a starter, main course and dessert, paired with the best selected fine wines produced in the winery.
Then, if you wish, you will have free time to relax in nature, walk among the vineyards or simply take pictures for your travel album.
At the end of the tour, we will return to Colonia del Sacramento and drop you off at your hotel again.
