Join a guided tour of the highlights of Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay. The tour starts at Plaza Independencia, the civic heart of the city, and continues to the Legislative Palace, seat of the Uruguayan Parliament. Then you'll visit the Mercado Agrícola de Montevideo (MAM), a former market converted into a culinary and cultural space.
The tour continues through Batlle Park, where you will see the exterior of the Centenario Stadium, the venue of the first World Cup, and the La Carreta Monument. Then you'll continue along the Rambla de Montevideo, the longest waterfront promenade in the world, with a photo stop next to the iconic Letras de Montevideo.
The sightseeing tour also takes you through the Old Town neighborhood, passing by the Teatro Solís, the Port Market, and the iconic Palacio Salvo.
Your Spanish, English, and Portuguese-speaking tour guide will accompany you throughout the tour, sharing local history and recommendations. Round-trip transportation is included during the whole activity.
