This completely guided tour travels along the Apache Trail through the Superstition Mountains. This trail was a stagecoach trail. It was named the Apache Trail after the Apache Indians who originally used it to move through these mountains.

Visit the Elvis Chapel where the Western film Charro!, starring Elvis Presley was filmed. Walk through the Apacheland Barn the scene of many Westerns. Tour Apache Junction's Superstition Mountain Museum, containing artifacts and a wealth of information regarding the rich history of the Superstition Mountains, its former human occupants, and natural geological makeup. There is time for shopping here.

Take a short nature walk where your guide will show you the flora indigenous to the Sonora Desert, including a variety of cacti - cholla, prickly pear and ocotillo. Explore Goldfield Ghost Town with a narrated Train Ride through the scenic Sonora Desert on the 1880s Narrow Gauge Railroad's 36" gauge train. Take the Goldmine Tour with a walk through the tunnel system of the historic Mammoth Gold Mine., Explore the Goldfield Museum, detailing the 1890s gold rush. Time for shopping here.

Drive through Weaver's Needle with its peak that seems to pierce the sky. Visit Tortilla Flat and have lunch at the Saloon. There will be time for shopping here.
