Be picked up at select hotels in Anchorage, or at the activity provider's centrally-located office. Hop aboard a comfortable and modern van. Embark on a daylong adventure that begins with a scenic drive along the Glenn Highway from Anchorage, offering magnificent views of the Chugach and Talkeetna mountain ranges.
Be provided opportunities for photo stops and hear about the interesting history and geology of this stunning area from your local guide. Upon arrival at the Matanuska Glacier, your guide will assist you in donning ice cleats and a helmet and give some safety instructions before heading out on the glacier’s icy surface
