Drive a maximum 1 hour depending on where is your hotel to the starting point in Assomada. After 10 minutes of walking our first stop in Cruz de Picos which is the gateway to the municipality of Santa Catarina, where you can have a broad view of the entire municipality.
Enjoy 4 hours of moderate walking to locality of Mato Dento.
