The intersting history tour begins by visiting Cham Museum to learn about Champa Kingdome, dating from 2-17th century with the Citadel in Tra Kieu away Da Nang for 60 kms to learn about all its owned power history.
Next drive you to visit Dien Hai citadel.Positioned approximately 100 km from the imperial capital of Hue.
In 1813, King Gia Long commissioned the construction of Dien Hai Fort.
Renamed Dien Hai Citadel in 1834 and subsequently rebuilt in 1847 under the reign of King Thieu Tri, the citadel adopted a more robust design inspired by Western Vauban architecture. Enclosed by a system of wide and deep moats with bridges for entry and exit, it featured a square shape with protruding corners.
The citadel comprised two gates on the east and south sides, with a perimeter of 556 meters, walls exceeding 5 meters in height, and moats deeper than 3 meters. It consisted of two layers of walls separated by moats, with the outer wall higher than the inner, creating a slightly concave shape that protruded at the corners.
Next we drive to visit Espanol cemetery, located almost in the center of the isthmus of the Son Tra peninsula. This would not be of much interest to people who are not from Vietnam, if it were not for the fact that Spanish and French soldiers are buried there. As is known, before its independence Vietnam was a French colony , known as French Indochina. But why are there Spanish soldiers there, let explore with us.
Then we take to Son Tra Peak to visit Ban Co Peak with American LZ( Landing Zone) and American Radar( Magic Eyes of Indochine) during Vietnam war where Da Nang is the strong base of American with fist American soldiers lands on Red Beach 2 where we can see from the the Peak.
After exploring Son Tra Peak we drive you along My Khe beach to hear stories about Ghost Beach and the holiday beach for American soldiers leisure after patrol in the South before we drop you off at your hotel.
