On this private Spanish tour, you'll learn about Shanghai's history while touring the city's most traditional areas. Ancient streets, temples, gardens, and colonial buildings
Your itinerary
After picking you up from the hotel at your chosen time, we'll head to the oldest part of Shanghai.
The first stop will be the Yuyuan Garden, built by an official between 1559 and 1577 as a place of relaxation for his parents. We'll also visit the market and its surrounding streets, which are a very interesting area.
Then, we'll head to Shanghai's most famous temple, the Jade Buddha Temple. It was built in 1882 to house two sculptures that came from Burma.
The tour continues with a visit to Tianzifang and the French concession, a neighborhood dating back to the early 20th century. This is a European-style area, perfect for lunch and coffee, so you'll have some free time.
After lunch, we'll head to the Bund, Shanghai's most famous spot and home to the city's most historic colonial buildings. From the "Wall Street of the East," you'll also get the best views of Pudong, the skyscraper district.
To end the day, we'll head to the Shanghai Museum, one of the most interesting museums in the whole country. Bronzes, jade, porcelain, sculptures, and much more make this a must-see.
The tour will end at your hotel or wherever you want.

Changes to the itinerary
Just a heads-up: the Shanghai Museum and Yuyuan Garden are closed on Mondays. Also, the museum isn't open to the public on days when it has special exhibitions. In these cases, we'll visit other places in Shanghai.
