9:00 Depart from a hotel in downtown Hangzhou and drive to West Lake. Along the way, you can gaze into the distance at Nanping Hill and listen to the distant, melodious tolling of the Nanping Evening Bell, immersing yourself in the tranquility of this millennium‑old temple.

10:00 Arrive at the southern entrance of Su Causeway (Sudi) and board a boat at the Flower Harbor (Huagang Guanyu) pier. Gliding across the shimmering water, you will enjoy one of the Ten Scenes of West Lake — "Flower Harbor Viewing Fish" — as shoals of colourful koi swim among red scales. The lake and mountain views unfold before your eyes.

11:00 Disembark at Quyuan Fenghe (Lotus in the Breeze at the Crooked Courtyard). In summer, when lotuses are in full bloom, the poetic charm of this spot greets you at every turn. You may stroll along the pathways and savour the refreshing fragrance of lotus flowers.

11:15 Set off on foot from Quyuan Fenghe. Pass by the Xiling Seal Art Society — a hallowed site for seal carving and epigraphy — then continue to Autumn Moon on Calm Lake (Pinghu Qiuyue) to enjoy the seamless expanse of lake and sky. Next, arrive at Broken Bridge (Duanqiao Canxue) and recall the legendary romance of the White Snake. Afterwards, walk onto Bai Causeway (Baidi) and transfer to a sightseeing tram.

11:45 Ride the tram along Bai Causeway, with a gentle breeze brushing your face. Then continue by tram through Liulang Wenying (Orioles Singing in the Willows), listening to orioles chirp amidst swaying willows and watching the verdant branches brush the water. The tram stops at Yongjin Gate, where you will get off.

12:00 Arrive at the West Lake Museum. The tour concludes here. After disbanding, you are free to visit the museum on your own and gain a deeper understanding of West Lake’s history, culture, and natural heritage.
