08:30 Depart from your downtown Shanghai hotel by private vehicle to Shanghai Film Park in Songjiang District. The journey takes about 1 hour, offering views of the suburban scenery along the way.

09:30 Arrive at Shanghai Film Park. The tour guide will purchase group tickets and escort you inside. Costume rental and styling services are available on site (optional at your own expense; the guide will not arrange this uniformly). Slip into a traditional cheongsam or a long gown and instantly travel back to old Shanghai.

09:35–12:00 Enjoy free time to explore the film park. You can stroll along the replica of Nanjing Road and snap photos at the filming locations of classic dramas such as Romance in the Rain, Blossoms Shanghai, and New Shanghai Bund. You may also watch stunt performances (show times subject to the day’s announcements). We recommend visiting the Shanghai Film Costume & Prop Exhibition Hall to admire rare costumes and props, or taking a leisurely walk through the manor‑style set area. This entire period is free and unguided – your guide will not lead the group, allowing you to take photos and wander at your own pace for a personalized cinematic adventure.

12:00–13:30 Transfer by vehicle to the lunch location. Lunch is at your own expense. You will be taken to the dining area in Songjiang New City, which offers a wide variety of restaurants to suit your taste.

13:45 Board the vehicle and head to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town. The drive takes about 40 minutes, giving you a short rest on the way.

14:35–16:00 Arrive at Zhujiajiao Ancient Town and begin your water‑town stroll. First, walk along the Ming‑ and Qing‑era North Street, lined with time‑honored shops and local snacks. Then climb Fangsheng Bridge for a panoramic view of the white‑walled, black‑tiled buildings lining both sides of the Caogang River. Afterwards, enjoy free time in the ancient town. You may visit the Great Qing Post Office, try local specialties such as braised pork (zha rou) or Grandma’s rice dumplings (a‑po zong), or rest and take photos at a teahouse by Fangsheng Bridge. For a true water‑town experience, you may also choose to take a rowboat ride at your own expense, gliding slowly along the canals and savoring the tranquil riverside atmosphere. All personal expenses during free time (including boat rides, snacks, tea, etc.) are at your own cost.

16:00 Gather at the designated meeting point at the ancient town’s entrance, then be transferred back to your downtown Shanghai hotel by private vehicle, concluding a fulfilling and memorable one‑day tour of Shanghai.
