It will be a great opportunity to climb Mount Azhdahak, the Red Planet.
You will be able to admire the breathtaking views of Mt. Aragats, Mt. Ara and the Biblical Mt. Ararat, the symbol f Armenia.
Mt. Azhdahak is located in the Geghama Range and is considered the highest point of the range.On the slopes of Azhdahak you can see many petroglyphs that date back to 4-5th centuries B.C.. As well as on the slopes of Mt. Azhdahak dragonstones can be seen, which play a great role in the Armenian culture with their history and significance.
The duration of the climbing Mt. Azhdahak is about 6-8 hours, depending on the number of memebrs of the tour and their physical fitness.
The route to the top of Mt. Azhdahak passes along beautiful paths, where a beautiful and breathtaking views of landscape of the Geghama Range open.
Arriving at the crater, it is impossible to remain indifferent to the beauty of the crater ice lake.
