Salzburg is a city you can feel before you see it: church bells over the Salzach river, music in the air and a white fortress keeping watch from its hill. It is less than two hours from Munich, yet it feels like a different world.
Your chauffeur collects you from your Munich hotel and drives you to the edge of Salzburg's old town. No station, no changes, no carrying bags. If you wish, a short stop at Lake Chiemsee on the way gives you a first mountain view.
Start in the Mirabell Gardens, where fountains and flower beds frame the fortress above (film fans will recognise the setting from The Sound of Music). Cross the river to the old town and wander down Getreidegasse to Mozart's birthplace, past the Cathedral and Residenzplatz, and perhaps pause in a coffeehouse for Salzburger Nockerl. A funicular takes you up to Hohensalzburg Fortress for the best view in the city.
Your chauffeur waits for you, then brings you back to Munich in the early evening. The Austrian motorway vignette and tolls are included.

Please bring a valid passport or national ID card for each guest.
The old town is pedestrian-only; your chauffeur drops you at the edge of it and agrees a pickup point.
Your chauffeur is a professional driver who knows the route well. This is not a guided tour; a local guide can be added on request (extra cost).
Pickup time is agreed after booking, usually between 07:00 and 09:00, so that it suits your plans.
The itinerary is an example. Because the car is private, the order and length of stops can be adapted on the day within the booked time.
Larger vehicles (for example for groups above 7) are available on request.
Not wheelchair accessible. Smoking, alcohol and pets are not allowed in the vehicle.
Wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
