Begin your journey at an ancient capital of the Shirvanshah state, one of Azerbaijan’s most important historic centers. Visit the historic Juma Mosque and learn about the city’s fascinating past and its position along important trade routes for centuries.

The road then leads into the green foothills of the Caucasus, where open landscapes gradually give way to forests and mountain valleys. Stop at the Zarnava Suspension Bridge, walk across its wooden structure above the rocky river, enjoy the surrounding scenery, and take some time for photographs.

Continue through peaceful mountain landscapes and stop at a local restaurant surrounded by nature. Relax in the fresh air and, if you wish, taste traditional Azerbaijani cuisine. Lunch is optional and at your own expense.

The journey then takes you deeper into the Greater Caucasus to discover the Seven Beauties (Yeddi Gozel) Waterfall. Follow the forest path towards the cascading falls and enjoy the cool air, lush surroundings, and peaceful atmosphere of the mountain forest.

The highlight of the journey is Tufandag Mountain Resort, set among the impressive peaks of the Greater Caucasus. If you wish, take the cable car higher into the mountains and enjoy panoramic views across the surrounding valleys and mountain peaks. You can also relax at a mountain café, enjoy the fresh air, or simply take in the scenery.
