Depart from Sarajevo for a day exploring two iconic places in Herzegovina: Medjugorje and Mostar. An excursion that combines spirituality, history, and culture.

The day begins as you depart from Sarajevo towards Medjugorje. During the journey, you will pass through the landscapes of Central Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Upon arrival in Medjugorje, our tour leader will introduce you to the history and significance of the place, known worldwide as a pilgrimage site. The visit does not include a tour guide: you will be accompanied to the main sites and will have free time to enjoy the experience at your leisure.

The first stop will be the Church of St. James, the town's main landmark. The tour leader will tell you about the history of the church and its importance as a pilgrimage site. You will have time to go inside and experience the place in peace.

Next, we will head to Apparition Hill, one of the most famous places in Medjugorje. The tour leader will explain the significance of the place and show you the route to follow. The ascent is done on foot, and the terrain can be uneven and rocky, so comfortable shoes are recommended. At the top, you'll have time to stop and take in the panorama.

After visiting Medjugorje, we'll continue on to Mostar. Here, you'll meet a local guide who will accompany you on a tour of the historic old town, telling you about the city's history, its traditions and its multicultural identity.

The Mostar tour will begin in the heart of the old town, among cobbled streets, bazaars, artisan shops and ancient buildings. The highlight will be the famous Old Bridge, Stari Most, the city's iconic landmark. The guide will tell you the history of the bridge, its importance, its destruction during the war, and its subsequent reconstruction.

During the stroll, you'll also see mosques, old Ottoman houses, the bazaar and the most picturesque corners of the old town.

At the end of the guided tour, you will have free time to explore Mostar on your own. You can stroll among the shops in the historic old town, buy handmade products, take photos from the Old Bridge, or stop at one of the traditional eateries to try some Herzegovinian specialties.

After your free time, we will regroup to begin the journey back to Sarajevo.
