Bariloche: Lago Moreno Fly-Fishing/Spinning Boat Trip

Book your winter day of Patagonian trout fishing on Lake Moreno in Bariloche. Fishing options include fly fishing or spinning.
The guide will be waiting for you at the dock with the motorboat ready to go. He is very friendly and speaks English; they are professionals and certified. Fishing is done from the boat, you can choose before the excursion if it is with fly or spinning.
Lake Moreno is an extraordinary fishing spot, surrounded by the stunning scenery that has made Bariloche famous among anglers and travelers worldwide. In the center of the lake, we still find abundant trout populations, but imagine the opportunities offered along its varied shorelines. Here you will find everything from sandbanks to clay banks, underwater meadows of delicate algae, and deep channels with abundant aquatic vegetation.
Some areas are covered with Russian shrimp (a freshwater algae common in Argentina) and dense reed beds, which are prime habitats for millions of insects and a rich buffet for brook and rainbow trout. These protected areas offer year-round streamer fishing, thanks to the abundance of baitfish that thrive in these inland lakes. Many trout enter these waters to feed and remain there for two or three years, reaching impressive sizes. Rainbow trout can weigh up to 5 or 6 kilos.
With our expert guides and fully equipped boats, you'll have the best chance of catching the trout of your dreams. In just one afternoon, you could have a real trophy in front of your camera. While we can't promise you a fish with every cast, we can promise you an unforgettable fly-fishing experience, the kind that keeps anglers coming back year after year.
After a good day of fishing, the guide will return to the bay and moor the boat there at the dock, concluding the excursion.
