This ticket gets you inside Zone 1 of O Quy Ho Heaven Gate — the spiritual, temple side of the pass, reached on foot rather than by shuttle bus, at 2,035 meters above sea level.
Once inside, you'll walk out onto the cloud-chasing viewpoints that made O Quy Ho Pass famous across Northwest Vietnam, with the mountain ridgelines and, on clear-sky days, a sea of clouds spread below you. From there, the path leads into the quieter half of Zone 1: cross Quan Am Bridge to reach O Quy Ho Temple, where the Medicine Buddha Statue and Mẫu Sơn Trang sit built into the rock face. Continue on foot through Vuon Dao Tien (Fairy Peach Garden) before making your way back to the entrance.
Because this ticket covers Zone 1 only, you can move through the temple grounds and viewpoints at your own pace, on foot, without waiting on a shuttle timetable shared with Zone 2 visitors. Getting to and from central Sapa, and access to Zone 2's attractions and shuttle bus, are handled separately — so plan your transport before you go.
