Day 1: Fly into Paro & Transfer to Thimphu
Upon your arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Druk Holidays Pvt Ltd. After completing your immigration formalities, you will be transferred to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. The drive to Thimphu offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan landscape. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take some time to relax. In the afternoon, explore Thimphu’s key attractions, including the Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong, and the Buddha Dordenma statue, which overlooks the entire valley. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 2: Morning Drive to Paro & Hike to Tiger’s Nest (Taktsang)
After breakfast, drive back to Paro, where you will embark on a hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang). This sacred site is perched on a cliffside, 900 meters above the Paro Valley, and is one of Bhutan’s most revered landmarks. The hike is moderately challenging but offers unparalleled spiritual and natural beauty. After visiting the monastery, descend back to Paro and spend the evening exploring Paro town or relaxing at your hotel. Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 3: Departure Day
On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel. Depending on your flight time, you may have some last-minute time to explore Paro town or visit the Paro Dzong and the National Museum. Later, you will be transferred to Paro International Airport for your departure, carrying with you the memories of Bhutan’s rich culture and stunning landscapes.
