Uyuni: 4-Day Andean Adventure from La Paz Uyuni Tour with Local Spanish Driver

Journey from La Paz to Uyuni on a 4-day adventure through salt flats, colorful lagoons, deserts, geysers, hot springs, and Andean landscapes.
DAY 1 – VIP OVERNIGHT JOURNEY FROM LA PAZ TO UYUNI

Check in at the bus office at approximately 8:30 PM and depart at 9:00 PM aboard a VIP overnight bus from La Paz to Uyuni. Travel with reclining seats, Starlink Wi-Fi, heating, onboard restroom, dinner, breakfast, bottled water, hot drinks, a pillow, and polar blanket.

DAY 2 – UYUNI SALT FLATS, CACTI & SUNSET

Arrive in Uyuni at approximately 7:30 AM, where our team will meet you at the bus office. Relax at a nearby café before returning to our office for check-in, meeting your driver, and receiving a short briefing.

Departure at 10:30 AM.

Train Cemetery – Discover historic locomotives linked to Uyuni’s railway past.
Colchani – Learn about traditional salt processing and browse local salt, alpaca, and llama crafts.
Uyuni Salt Flats – Cross the vast white landscape and visit the Saltwater Eyes, Playa Blanca, Salt Hotel Museum, Flags of the World, and Dakar Monument.
Incahuasi Island – Walk among giant cacti and ancient coral formations while enjoying panoramic views.
Perspective Photography – Capture creative optical-illusion photos across the salt flats.
Sunset Stop – Enjoy the sunset with wine and chips.

Overnight: Salt hostel in Atulcha.

DAY 3 – ANDEAN LAGOONS & DESERT SCENERY

Breakfast at 7:00 AM before continuing through the Bolivian Altiplano.

Chiguana Desert – Cross open desert plains surrounded by colorful mountains.
Ollagüe Volcano – Enjoy views of the volcano and surrounding highlands.
Andean Lagoons – Visit Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chiarcota, where flamingos can often be seen.
Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve – Explore its mountains, deserts, and high-altitude lagoons.
Siloli Desert & Stone Tree – Travel through remarkable desert scenery and see the famous wind-shaped rock formation.
Red Lagoon – Admire Laguna Colorada’s reddish waters and look for flamingos.

Overnight: Hostel in Huayllajara or Polques, subject to availability.

DAY 4 – HOT SPRINGS & GEOTHERMAL WONDERS

Early departure at 5:00 AM.

Sol de Mañana – See steaming vents and bubbling mud pools in this geothermal area.
Polques Hot Springs – Relax in naturally heated waters surrounded by mountain scenery.
Dalí Desert – Cross its surreal, painting-like landscapes.
Green & White Lagoons – Admire these high-altitude lagoons beneath Licancabur Volcano.

Arrival in Uyuni – Return to our office in Uyuni at approximately 5:30–6:30 PM, marking the conclusion of your 4-day journey.
