Begin with an overnight journey from La Paz, discover the Uyuni Salt Flats on a full-day 4x4 adventure, then travel overnight back to La Paz, arriving on Day 3.
DAY 1 – LA PAZ DEPARTURE & VIP OVERNIGHT BUS TO UYUNI
Begin your journey in the city of La Paz. Check in at the bus office at approximately 8:30 PM and depart at 9:00 PM aboard your VIP overnight bus to Uyuni. Travel through the night with reclining seats, Starlink Wi-Fi, heating, an onboard restroom, polar blanket, dinner, and breakfast.
DAY 2 – UYUNI SALT FLATS, CACTI & SUNSET
Reach Uyuni at approximately 7:30 AM, where our team will meet you at the bus office. Continue to a nearby café, where you can relax and enjoy some free time. Later, head to our office for check-in, meet your driver and guide, and receive a brief introduction before departure.
Departure at 10:30 AM.
Train Cemetery – Walk among historic locomotives and discover traces of Uyuni's important railway past.
Colchani – Learn how salt is traditionally processed and explore local handicrafts, including products made from alpaca and llama wool.
Uyuni Salt Flats – Journey across the immense white salt landscape and visit the Saltwater Eyes, Playa Blanca, Salt Hotel Museum, Flags of the World, and Dakar Monument.
Incahuasi Island – Explore trails surrounded by giant cacti and ancient coral formations while taking in panoramic views across the salt flats.
Perspective Photography – Take advantage of the endless white horizon to capture fun and creative optical-illusion photographs.
Sunset – Finish your Salt Flats experience watching the evening colors while enjoying wine and chips.
Return to Uyuni – Travel back to our office after sunset, arriving between approximately 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. You'll have time to prepare for the next part of your journey.
VIP Overnight Bus to La Paz – Check in at the bus office at approximately 8:30 PM and depart at 9:00 PM aboard your VIP overnight bus to La Paz.
DAY 3 – ARRIVAL IN THE CITY OF LA PAZ
Arrive in La Paz the following morning between approximately 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM, bringing your 3-day journey to an end.
