This one-day combination tour of Sarajevo offers you a complete experience, combining history, culture, and gastronomy. You will begin by exploring the beating heart of the city, immersing yourself in its most significant monuments and the history that forged them.

Part One - Walking Tour
The tour begins with a walk through Baščaršija Square, Sarajevo's historic center, surrounded by traditional stores and historic cafes. In the center of the square is the Sebilj fountain, one of the city's most recognizable symbols, which has inspired poets and writers. We will continue along the Street of Coppersmiths, a street that tells the story of local crafts and traditional trades, where you can admire the work of artisans.

You will also visit Sarajevo City Hall, a neo-Renaissance building that reflects the city's Austro-Hungarian influence and modernization. The Saray Caravan, a historic structure that housed merchants, is another symbol of Sarajevo's historical importance as a crossroads of cultures and trade.

Next, you will see the Gazi Husrev-bey Mosque, one of the most important in the city, with its magnificent clock tower, an example of Ottoman architecture. You will not miss a visit to the Jewish Synagogue and the Sarajevo Meeting Point of Cultures, which symbolize the religious and cultural coexistence that has characterized the city for centuries.

We will continue with a visit to the Catholic Cathedral and the Orthodox Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos, places that tell the story of Sarajevo's religious plurality. Finally, you will arrive at the Latin Bridge, famous for the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in 1914, an event that sparked World War I. During the walk, you will have the opportunity to taste traditional cevapi and burek and enjoy the famous Bosnian coffee, a symbol of Bosnia's coffee culture.

Part Two - War Tour (3 hours)
After the cultural tour, you will immerse yourself in Sarajevo's recent history by visiting places related to the 1990s war. The first stop is the Tunnel of Hope, an underground passageway that connected Sarajevo to the outside world during the siege. This tunnel is a symbol of resistance and hope for Sarajevans.

The tour will continue along Sniper Alley, the most dangerous street during the siege, where snipers fired from surrounding buildings. It will be an opportunity to reflect on the hardships experienced by the population during those terrible years. You will also visit the Jewish Cemetery, which became a strategic post during the war

Another significant stop will be the Moreno Locatelli Bridge, dedicated to the peace volunteers who fell during the conflict. This bridge represents the sacrifice and commitment of those who tried to stop violence and bring peace to the city. The tour will end at the Yellow Fortress(Panorama), From here, you will be able to reflect on the resilience of the city and its ability to be reborn after the conflict.
