Salvador/BA: Frades and Itaparica Islands Tour Experience

Explore the Bay of All Saints on a full-day tour, with stops at Ilha dos Frades and Itaparica to enjoy crystalline, warm waters, the beach, relaxation and Bahian flavors.
The experience begins at 7:30 a.m. at Tourist Terminal Náutico da Bahia in Salvador, where you will meet the group and prepare for boarding. At 8:00 a.m., the schooner departs promptly to sail through the Bay of All Saints toward Frades Island.

During the crossing, you can enjoy the bay's scenery while soaking up the relaxed atmosphere on board, with live samba, a selection of tropical fruits, and the support of a licensed guide and a trained team. The schooner operates with controlled capacity, providing more space and comfort during the trip.

At around 9:30 a.m., we arrive at the first stop: Ponta de Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe on Ilha dos Frades. Because we leave Salvador earlier, we are one of the first schooners to arrive, allowing you to enjoy the beach in a more relaxed atmosphere. The spot has warm, crystal-clear waters and holds the international Blue Flag certification. You'll have about three hours of free time to swim, relax on the sand, stroll around the area and take photos of the scenery.

At 12:30 p.m., we begin boarding to head to Itaparica, the largest island in the Bay of All Saints. We arrive at around 1:10 p.m., with a dinghy drop-off and assistance from the crew directly on the beach in front of Manguezal Restaurant.

In Itaparica, you'll have about two hours to enjoy the beach with its calm, shallow waters. If you wish, you can have lunch at the local restaurant, which offers Bahian cuisine, or simply enjoy some free time to relax and soak up the sea. There is also the option of taking a cultural tour of the island, which can be booked separately.

At 3:15 p.m., we begin boarding for the return to Salvador. The return voyage concludes a full day in the Bay of All Saints, with approximately five hours spent on the islands. Arrival at the Nautical Terminal is between 5:00 PM and 5:15 PM.

Arrival times at the islands may be subject to slight change depending on sailing conditions, while the scheduled departure times are maintained.
