Discover Gatineau from Ottawa on a private guided tour inspired by the Tour de Gatineau. Explore downtown Gatineau, Old Hull, Gatineau Park, the Ottawa River and iconic capital landmarks.
Discover Gatineau from a completely different perspective on a private guided sightseeing experience inspired by the Tour de Gatineau professional cycling circuit.
Begin with pick-up from Fairmont Chateau Laurier, a downtown Ottawa hotel or another confirmed Ottawa-area location. Cross the Ottawa River into Quebec and explore the streets, neighbourhoods and landscapes connected to one of Gatineau's major international cycling events.
Travel toward Zibi and downtown Gatineau before reaching Place Laval, the start and finish area of the Tour de Gatineau. Your guide introduces the event and explains how professional cyclists race through the heart of Gatineau before heading toward the greener and more challenging sections of the circuit.
Continue through Old Hull and Promenade du Portage, then follow sections of Boulevard Alexandre-Tache toward Lac-des-Fees and the edge of Gatineau Park. Watch the surroundings change from downtown streets to forested landscapes and rolling terrain while learning how the city's geography shapes the cycling course.
The route continues through the Gamelin and Promenade Gatineau areas before returning toward the Ottawa River.
Along the waterfront, enjoy views of the Canadian Museum of History, Jacques-Cartier Park, Parliament Hill, the Ottawa skyline and the Ottawa River before returning to Ottawa.
This experience combines Gatineau sightseeing, professional cycling culture, urban history, nature and National Capital Region views in one private tour.
