Our guide will pick you up at your hotel at Huangshan City at 08:30, transfer to Yixian County (1 hour), you will visit to 2 ancient Huizhou villages (Huizhou is a historical region in Anhui Province which roughly corresponds to Huangshan City today), firstly, pay a visit to Xidi Village, it was listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000, and there are over 100 houses since Ming and Qing Dynasty, to explore couplet culture.
Continue your trip in Ancient Huizhou, visit to another World Heritage site, Hongcun Village, know as “Village in a Chinese painting”. Hongcun is a "buffalo shaped village". Viewed from above, the shape of the whole village looks like a buffalo lying on the side of a stream in front of a mountain. This village was established in the Song Dynasty and over 900 years old. Pay a visit to South Lake, South Lake Academy, Moon Pond, Chengzhi Hall, etc, get back to Huangshan City (Tunxi) around 17:00.
