描述

Discover Suzhou and Zhouzhuang on a private day trip from Shanghai. Explore classical gardens, visit the Suzhou Silk Museum, and take a boat ride through the canals of Zhouzhuang.
Begin your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Shanghai. Travel in comfort to Suzhou, where you can choose to visit one of four classical gardens: Canglang Pavilion, Lion Grove Garden, Humble Administrator's Garden, or Lingering Garden. Each garden offers a unique blend of architecture and natural beauty, showcasing the refined aesthetics of ancient Chinese scholars.

Next, head to Panmen Gate, an ancient city gate that stands as a testament to Suzhou's rich history. Stroll through the gate's structures and climb the tower to imagine the bustling scenes of trade and defense from centuries past.

Continue to the Suzhou Silk Museum to learn about the city's long-standing silk production tradition. Discover the intricate process from silkworm cultivation to fine weaving, gaining insight into Suzhou's traditional silk craftsmanship.

Then, board a colorful boat at Bai Juyi Wharf for a leisurely cruise along the Shantang River. Admire the Ming and Qing dynasty residences, stone arch bridges, ancient opera stages, and historic guild halls that line the riverbanks.

Finally, travel to the charming water town of Zhouzhuang. Glide through its narrow waterways on a traditional Wupeng boat, passing ancient buildings that stand gracefully by the water. After a day of exploration, return to your hotel in Shanghai, bringing your journey to a close.
