Zhangjiajie Day Tour: Avatar Mountains & Xiangxi Show

See Zhangjiajie’s “Avatar” peaks, ride the Bailong Elevator, walk Golden Whip Stream, and finish with the Charming Xiangxi show (meals at own expense; Wulingyuan hotel pickup included).
Begin your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Wulingyuan and head to the east gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Board an eco-friendly shuttle bus to the Tianzi Mountain cable car station and ride to the top of the mountain.

Explore the Helong Park area and admire the iconic stone peaks of Yubi Peak and Fairy Scattering Flowers. Continue to the Yangjiajie area to see the natural Great Wall of peaks, Wulong Village, and Tianbo Mansion viewing platform.

Next, head to the Yuanjiajie core area to see the floating mountain prototype from the movie Avatar, the First Bridge Under Heaven, and the panoramic view from the Enchantment Platform. After exploring the mountain top, enjoy a lunch break (at your own expense).

Take the Bailong Elevator down to the bottom of the canyon and stroll along the Jinbian Stream forest trail. Pass by scenic spots like the Eagle Protecting the Whip, Meeting from a Thousand Miles, and Longevity Spring.

In the evening, return to Wulingyuan for dinner (at your own expense) before heading to the theater to watch the large-scale live performance "Charming Xiangxi." Enjoy the Tujia and Miao ethnic songs and dances, traditional folk customs, and thrilling folk skills, and gain a deeper understanding of the thousand-year-old minority culture of Xiangxi.
