Learn how to make tangerine makgeolli in Jeju. Pick fresh citrus fruits, combine them with steamed rice and nuruk, and brew your own makgeolli to taste and take home.
Experience Jeju’s local culture by making your own tangerine makgeolli. From December to February, hand-pick fresh Jeju citrus fruits and use them to make your own makgeolli. During other seasons, freshly squeezed citrus juice is provided.

Begin with an introduction to the history, culture, and brewing principles of traditional Korean alcohol. Harvest fresh citrus, combine it with steamed rice and nuruk (traditional ferment starter), and brew your own makgeolli.

Taste makgeolli at the end of the class and bring nuruk and 1 bottle of makgeolli back home. In accordance with airline regulations, you may take it with you or leave it behind.
