Wander among beech, oak, and Douglas fir trees, while enjoying interactive learning stations along the way.
Night Lights is one of the winter highlights at the Saarschleife treetop walk. When thousands of lights illuminate the path and the observation tower, the forest above the Saarschleife transforms into a magical winter world.
Along the trail, glowing forest inhabitants accompany visitors – from shining deer families to mysterious animals that awaken in the glow of the lights. A walk high above the ground becomes a unique experience between nature and illumination.
Night Lights combines a winter atmosphere with the experience of nature, offering a particularly magical perspective of the Saarschleife treetop walk.
The highlight of the experience is the 42-meter-high lookout tower. With a gentle incline and a spacious 70-square-meter viewing platform, it rewards visitors with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Saarschleife valley, extending as far as the Vosges Mountains on clear days. Designed for accessibility, the entire trail and tower feature a maximum gradient of 6%, making it easy to navigate for wheelchair users and families with prams.
