Our little train takes us leisurely through one of the most beautiful regions of Usedom, the Achterland with its small, almost original villages, the adjacent Achterwasser and its diverse nature.
We leave the seaside resorts and head towards Benz. Here we visit an early Gothic church from the early 13th century with a coffered ceiling decorated with a starry sky. Immerse yourself in the tranquillity of the untouched landscape. The route continues to Neppermin. Many of the houses have cane roofs or stand on a rock base - a feast for the eyes.
We continue along the Achterwasser, through the villages of Balm and Dewichow to Morgenitz. The Landpartie then takes us to Rankwitz harbor. Enjoy the tranquillity and idyll of the Peenestrom.
In the restaurant "Alte Fischräucherei" you can expect a wide range of oven-fresh smoked fish as well as fried and boiled fish specialties. Well fortified, the tour continues to Mellenthin moated castle, where you can enjoy a coffee or visit the castle grounds.
Then it's back in the direction of the Kaiserbäder.
